I see it. You can call it the light, you can call it moonlight, you can call it love, i call it a star. Or rather, a compilation of stars put together to form one picture. One unique scene that shines its light across the whole world at a time when all is dark. The sun is up for most of the day, but it has to fade at some point. It cant be up forever. When the sun is shining, the star is overlooked. It shines, but is unnoticed, invisible. When the sunshine fades away, the world becomes dark. A blanket puts out any hope of light at all. Thats when the stars come out. And there are few that shine together and shine brightly. One constellation in particular is my “north star”: my guidance, my comfort, my emotion. Every night, starting from tonight, I’ll look for my constellation, because to me, its much more than a bunch of stars. Its hope. Hope that when everything else in the world changes, and everything goes wrong, this will always be there, unchanged and untouched. Hope that somewhere, in some other part of the world, you find it too. And hope, that maybe, the moment that you find it, you find me. Because when I find it in the sky, I’ll find you in my heart.
